Hi Oddlings,

We've had a busy summer so forgive us for not posting for a while. Hope all is well with you...

We are pleased to announce to all of you that we produced the animated opening for the new Phineas and Ferb live show touring the U.S.! The show kicks off this week in California, but you can check here to see when it lands in your town and order up some tickets.

This was a fun project to work on and we're so excited for you to see it live...stay tuned for updates. Halloween is just around the corner and it's our favorite holiday...

Tasty Time with Zefronk receives Emmy Nomination!

Hi Oddlings,

We are pleased to announce that Disney's Tasty Time with Zefronk received a 2011 Emmy nomination!

The Daytime Emmy Awards will be broadcast June 19th on CBS, and hosted by actor and comedian Wayne Brady. Be sure to tune in and see the results! We are keeping our fingers crossed...

We loved working on this project and are so pleased with the news. Big thanks to the whole animation team at OddBot!

Premiere of Shep & Tiffany Watch TV on Bravo this Thursday!

Hi Oddlings,

We're pleased to announce the premiere of Shep & Tiffany Watch TV: The Best of 2010 this Thursday December 23rd at 11pm EST/PST on Bravo!

The show features Shep and his girlfriend Tiffany as they discover their DVR is filled with reality TV shows they'd recorded throughout the year. Instead of going out, they decide to stay in and watch all of their favorite guilty pleasures...including The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Jersey Shore, Millionaire Matchmaker, The Rachel Zoe Project, and Top Chef...in order to clear their DVR for more reality TV in 2011. Maryoku Yummy to premiere on The Hub

Hi Oddlings,

The long-awaited premiere of The Hub is almost here! The new Discovery-Hasbro kid's channel is bringing to life some of our old favorites like Strawberry Shortcake and Transformers, along with new shows, including Maryoku Yummy, starting Sunday October 10th.

Maryoku Yummy is a whimsical animated series about the magical world of the Yummy - resident Wish-sitters of Nozomu. Nozomu is a place where kids' Wishes come to life in many different forms and personalities. Since caring for Wishes is a full time job, each individual Wish needs a Wish-sitter, to nurture it and teach it life lessons.

We had a fun time developing the world of Maryoku Yummy here at Oddbot, thanks to American Greetings. Please tune in weekdays at 10:30am starting Monday October 11th. Hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

OddBot has created a new puppet series that'll leave you with a toothy grin! It's a mixture of foam, felt, magic, fun and more foam sprinkled with magic!

OddBot's latest series "The Purple Wizard Red Cowboy Show" features an evil wizard that spends his days trying to cast irritating spells on smelly villagers...but doesn't get very far due the carefree antics of the local cowboy.

Check out all four episodes, featuring Lollipop Fairies, the celebratory Honk Day, Red Cowboy's introduction to wizardry, and some interesting news for Purple Wizard.

Halloween can't go by without some serious celebration.

In honor of our favorite holiday, OddBot artists gathered at Pasadena's pumpkin patch to pick out their favorite large, small, and misshapen pumpkins to carve into artistic works of art, which we proudly displayed back at our studio.

Take a look at our employees and their glorious creations...including a Zombie Ze Fronk, a balding pumpkin with hair plugs, and the tried-and-true scary pumpkin faces.

OddBot Lego Extravaganza!

Last Friday, the crew at OddBot got to prove what creative stuff they are made of. With nothing but a few thousand Lego pieces piled on top of the conference room table, (and maybe a beer or two), our artists got down to business. The assignment? To build something for a desktop that has a function (i.e. a pencil holder). The results varied from things like a "wheel holder" to a paper clip container that could only fit one paper clip. With lots of character of course. The winner of the grand prize was Erich Haeger with his highly functional coffee/tea cozy.

A new season of "Can You Teach My Alligator Manners?" is set to air on Playhouse Disney! You can catch 10 new episodes on Saturday, August 22nd starting at 6:25am PST/ 9:25am EST.

The series features Mikey, a young boy who enlists the help of viewers to teach his pet alligator Al to be polite. Join them as they visit an airplane, swimming pool, museum, and other fun places---and hopefully Al can behave himself!

We are so excited to bring you brand new episodes of this show. Tune in August 22nd!

OddBot is a year old today!!!

With the ever-increasing hum of a pubescent cyborg, OddBot, Inc. is celebrating our first full year as a studio!

They say the first year is the biggest hurdle (and we never were too good at Track & Field), so naturally we are EXTREMELY grateful to all those who helped make this critical toddler-time such a success!

Here are some official highlights from our first "full season":

We got "Creeped Out" by Weird Al Yankovic with Jib-Jab.

The caring never stopped with Kay Hanley and the Care Bears.

We adventured far and wide with "Mr. Mailman" as our guide (layer)...
Nyuk nyuk... (FlashjokeeventhoughitwasanimatedinAfterEffects).

We played it SAFE with Lou & Lou for Playhouse Disney.

A heavy Korn-feeding helped us to further our "Evolution!"

We'll keep you updated with more exciting news of OddBot animation as it goes to air! We promise from the bottom of our chrome-plated hearts.

In the meantime, we're gonna go blow out our candle and eat some cupcakes...

-Chris gabs with the trade 'zine about short-format animation and its apparent rise in popularity of late...

-OddBot's work bookends the article, with Chris as the first production studio interviewed (as well as a top-of-page screen shot from Lou & Lou: Safety Patrol). One of the final points touched on in the article is the success of The Many Adventures of Mr. Mailman, whose most recent episodes were produced by OddBot, as well.

OddBot Plays it SAFE!

Hello OddLings,

-OddBot, Inc. played host to none other than Grace Rolek, star of Playhouse Disney's "Lou & Lou: Safety Patrol!"

-OddBot, Inc. is currently in production on the third round of these adorably fun animated shorts. Grace's voicings of "Louise" bring levity and enthusiasm to the role, and we at OddBot couldn't be more thrilled to be working with her!

-We started with a tour of the new studio digs, moved into some pizza, had a rousing round of patio badminton, and ended with a Dual-Screened lesson on Nintendogs!

-All in all, a fantastic visit from a favorite!

-Oddbot-ers celebrated the completion of their two latest projects last night with the crew gathering to watch the final shows.

-Both The CareBears music video and "The Many Adventures of Mr Mailman" wrapped up production last month, and have been blessed with rave reviews from clients.
